JAIPUR: In a move to make the system more transparent and accountable, youth affairs & sports secretary and sports council chairperson Neeraj K Pawan has made it mandatory for all the sports associations to submit details of their executive committees.
The state associations will also have to provide details of the district sports associations associated with them to Rajasthan State Sports Council (RSSC) within next month.

"They have to submit all the information online. Failing to do so, the aid given to the associations will be stopped," the RSSC chairperson told the representatives of various sports associations in a meeting here on Monday.
This is being done to ensure the RSSC is aware of 'which officer is placed in which sports association' and how many district associations are functional.
"Information about the tournaments being organised along with the name of the sport, players, number of teams, information about individual and team events, category and certificates should also be provided. The name of the certificate issuing federation, whether the sport is recognised by the IOA or not and the domicile certificate have to be disclosed within 30 days of the completion of the tournament. All this has to be done online. If this is not followed, the grant of that association will not be sanctioned," said Neeraj K Pawan.
The RSSC chairperson has urged all sports associations to create their own websites and upload every information there.
Keeping in mind the interests of the players, he said that the aim will be to 'ensure that grants are given to the players before they start preparation for big events and the prize money should be awarded immediately on return after winning a medal'.
