Is Xavier Woods turning heel?

Xavier Woods has been frustrated with many of his recent defeats. Previously, he was seen upset with his The New Day partner, Kofi Kingston and with his recent defeat, the superstar is seemingly done with being nice.
Jey Uso defeated Woods to retain his Intercontinental Championship. After Jey Uso offered a handshake to Woods, he furiously walked away without accepting it. Kofi Kingston tried to calm his partner, but Woods refused to engage with Uso. Both Uso and Kingston were surprised and visibly frustrated.

Suddenly, Bron Breakker blindsided Uso with a devastating Spear. Kingston urged Woods to help, but Woods declined to come for aid for his partner. Kingston charged Breakker with a Trouble in Paradise, but Breakker dodged and hit Kingston with another massive Spear. As Kingston rolled out, Breakker ran outside and Speared Woods as well. He returned to the ring to crush Uso with another Spear. While Breakker’s chaos was a highlight of the segment, Woods’ reluctance to shake hands with Uso and help Kingston is an indication of the superstar potentially turning heel.

The New Day as Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston grappled with internal conflict following Kingston’s introduction of former WWE star Odyssey Jones to the group. Although Jones is no more in the stable, the tension between Xavier and Kingstone did not evaporate.

During a crucial tag team title match against The Judgment Day, Woods confronted Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, pleading for a fair contest. Although they honored his request, interference from the LWO shifted the match’s direction which cost Woods the victory. His frustration escalated when he discovered Kingston orchestrated the LWO distraction without consulting him, leading to a heated backstage clash where Woods accused Kingston of sidelining him.
