SBI down: Issue affecting mobile banking, UPI and other services ‘stands resolved’

Update:SBI has said that the issue that affected its services, including Mobile Banking and UPI, has been resolved. The bank shared a statement on X (formerly Twitter).
"Technical issues with SBI UPI application stands resolved and is working fine since 5PM. We regret the inconvenience caused to our customers," SBI said in a statement on X.

State Bank of India's (SBI) online services are currently experiencing disruptions. User reports indicate widespread issues with online services offered by the bank, including internet banking and mobile banking. According to the outage tracking website Downdetector, reports of problems surged around 3:02 pm IST, with over 800 users reporting issues. Mobile banking is the most affected service (62%), followed by online banking (32%) and online login (6%). SBI has acknowledged these service disruptions and confirmed they are aware of the customer-facing issues.


In a post shared on social media platform X, SBI wrote: “We are facing technical issues in UPI, due to which customers may face intermittent issues in availing UPI services. UPI Services will be resumed by 15:30 Hrs IST dated 11.03.2025. Customers may continue to use UPI lite services for uninterrupted service.”
