Krishna Bhardwaj, who is currently playing the lead in the TV show 'Tenali Rama', admits the past few months have been tough since he is missing his parents, who are in their hometown, a lot. Despite the distance, however, the actor says that he takes care of all their daily essential needs and groceries by ordering them online for them.
Krishna said, “My parents are in my hometown and they aren't technologically advanced, so I order all their groceries online. Currently, there is also some renovation work going on at home, so I speak to the labourers and transfer money from here. My parents are old and it is important that I take care of all the important things at home even though I am not with them physically.”
Krishna also reveals that his father had come to Mumbai to become an actor, but could not fulfill his dream. He said, “My dad always wanted me to become an actor. In fact, it is his unfulfilled dream. When he was young, he wanted to become an actor and came to Bombay to try his luck. However, he struggled, couldn't succeed and went back home. Finally, now that I am an actor, he is so happy and proud of me. I am hoping that he will get to act someday and maybe work in my show. All his life, he acted in local shows like ‘Akashwani’, ‘Doordarshan’, and also did theatre. He has a Ph.D. in Hindi and my Hindi diction is good only because of him. He always encouraged me to pursue acting and I hope I can repay him by getting him a small role somewhere.”
