Shweta Tiwari and her daughter,
Palak Tiwari, share a fun and candid bond, often seen pulling each other’s leg in interviews and social media interactions. In a throwback conversation with Pinkvilla, the mother-daughter duo had shared some hilarious anecdotes, with Shweta jokingly revealing why she wished for a son after having Palak.
The reason? Palak’s lavish taste in makeup.
Shweta humorously shared, “On her 16th birthday, she went out and shopped for makeup worth Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand, such expensive products. Each eyeshadow was for Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000. I can’t afford so much. I cannot have another daughter.”
Defending herself, Palak cheekily responded, “To be fair, I researched.”
Their playful banter continued when Palak revealed another amusing fact—she sometimes calls Shweta ‘Didi’ instead of ‘Mom’ due to their minimal age gap in appearance.
Shweta Tiwari, a household name in Indian television, rose to fame with her role as Prerna Sharma in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
