Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has executed a major administrative reorganisation by appointing 14 Class-II officers as principals in various govt high schools in the state. This includes the transfer of a senior officer from the Board's administrative division to a school-based leadership position.
The restructuring follows reports of alleged irregularities by an officer in private school registration processes. The changes include the reassignment of a principal from Savli Secondary School, Vadodara, who will now serve as a governance officer in the same district.
"A significant change involves Dinesh Kalshariya, previously assistant secretary at the Board's Gandhinagar office, who has received a posting as principal at a govt school in Umarala, Bhavnagar, situated approximately 200km away," said an official close to the development.
The reorganisation also affects officers who maintained lengthy tenures in administrative positions within their home districts. "Sneha Rawal, who served in Ahmedabad rural district, has received an appointment as principal at Vatrakgadh Govt Secondary School in Bayad taluka," the official added.
