Clouds keep days in check but night temp records sharp rise
Bhopal: Strong winds and clouds gave some respite from rising day temperature, but the night temperature sharply went up.

The day temperature in Bhopal on Saturday was recorded at 40.7 degrees celsius, which was at the normal mark, while night temperature in the city was 27.4 degrees celsius, three degrees more than the normal mark. Day temperature in Khajuraho was 43.8 degrees celsius.
In the forecast for Bhopal on Sunday the meteorological dept stated there would be partly cloudy sky.

In the forecast for the state the meteorological dept issued a warning of heat wave at isolated places in Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Chhindwara, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Niwari dists.
A heat wave, thunderstorm with lightning warning existed for Raisen dist. A warning of thunderstorm with lightning, gusty wind 40 kmph- 50 kmph at isolated places was for Narmadapuram, Betul, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Singrauli and Sidhi.
