Justice Sinha transferred to Allahabad HC

Cuttack: Justice Arindam Sinha, judge of Orissa high court, has been transferred to Allahabad HC, according to a notification issued by the department of justice on Friday.
Justice Sinha had joined the Orissa HC on Oct 8, 2021. He officiated as acting Chief Justice from Jan 19 after Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh retired as Chief Justice till Justice Harish Tandon took over as the 35th CJ on March 26.
Born on Sept 22, 1965, Justice Sinha enrolled as an advocate on March 11, 1991, and practised principally in the Calcutta HC till he was elevated to the HC bench as an additional judge on Oct 30, 2013. He was appointed as permanent judge of the Calcutta HC on March 14, 2016.TNN
