Shark Tank India, a business based show has always won hearts of the audience and so have the judges- Peyush Bansal, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh and others of the show. Recently, Commerce and Industry minister of India
Piyush Goyal, has asked the startups to shift their focus. By shifting focusing he specified that, he should go from short-term delivery service to
high-tech industry. He even directly mentioned the sharks and asked them to change their perspective.
Piyush said, “Aman Gupta, change your perspective in Shark Tank.” Peyush even questioned the trend of startups focusing mainly on quick delivery services and low-value products. “Are we going to be happy being delivery boys and girls... Is that the destiny of India... this is not startup, this is entrepreneurship... What other side is doing -- robotics, machine learning, 3D manufacturing and next generation factories factories.”
Further, he asked the sharks and other entrepreneurs to focus on businesses that are high in tech, innovation, and are futuristic. Talking about the same, he asked the entrepreneur if it is necessary to always make a chips or an ice cream brand and not focus on innovation and technology. Moreover, he mentioned how
technology and innovation as business can shape the future of the country, and it is important for all the entrepreneurs to think wisely about it.
