Another earthquake hits Telangana, 2nd in less than a week
NEW DELHI: A 3.0 magnitude earthquake hit Mahabubnagar district in Telangana on Saturday, according to the National Center for Seismology.
This is the second earthquake reported in the state within a week.
However, scientists from the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), said none of their stations had recorded the tremor.
NCS said the earthquake’s epicentre was in Dasarapalle village of Koukuntla mandal and that it occurred at 12.15 pm at a depth of 10 kilometres.
