Sabari trek with Mohanlal lands SHO in soup

Kottayam: The police department took disciplinary action against an SHO who trekked to Sabarimala along with actor Mohanlal. It is learnt from sources that the action against the SHO was for deliberately hiding the real intention of going with Mohanlal while applying for leave. The officer allegedly cited other reasons while applying for leave.
B Sunil Krishnan, who was the Thiruvalla SHO, was served a show-cause notice by the Thiruvalla DSP. The SHO was transferred the next day after he visited Sabarimala. The DSP acted based on the directive of the district police chief.
