Mamata to inaugurate EB docu

Kolkata: Chief minister Mamata Banerjee is set to inaugurate the documentary on East Bengal club's century-old history here on Thursday.
The 58-minute-long documentary has been made by filmmaker Goutam Ghose. The documentary was originally scheduled to be screened for the first time at Nandan on Friday. "Since we've got the go-ahead from the chief minister's office that she will be present and inaugurate it, we have decided to change the time and venue of the programme. It will now be held at Rabindra Sadan on Thursday from 5 pm," an East Bengal club official said.
Ghose started filming the documentary in 2019, a year before the club's centenary year. According to Ghose, the film contained interviews with legendary PK Banerjee and Chuni Goswami among others. "We secured numerous interviews with players and individuals instrumental in establishing the club," Ghose said.
