Megablock alert: Major disruptions on Mumbai’s Central & Harbour lines today

Central Railway's Mumbai Division is conducting a megablock today to perform engineering and maintenance works on its suburban sections. Services on Main, Harbour, and Trans-Harbour Lines will be temporarily diverted or disrupted during specified hours, affecting travel schedules between Thane, Kalyan, Panvel, and Vashi.

MUMBAI: Central Railway's Mumbai Division will operate a megablock on its suburban sections today to carry out various engineering and maintenance works.
On the Main Line, the block will be in effect on Up and Down fast lines between Thane and Kalyan from 10.40 am to 3.40 pm.
  • Up Fast/Semi-fast services leaving Kalyan between 10.28 am and 3.40 pm will be diverted onto the Up Slow line between Kalyan and Thane, halting at Diva, Mumbra, and Kalva stations in addition to their scheduled stops. They will be re-diverted onto the Up Fast line at Mulund station and will arrive at their destinations approximately 10 minutes later than scheduled.
  • Down Mail/Express trains leaving CSMT/Dadar will be diverted onto the 5th line between Thane and Kalyan.
  • Up Mail/Express trains arriving at CSMT/Dadar will be diverted onto the 6th line between Kalyan and Thane/Vikhroli stations.

On the Harbour Line, the block will be in effect between Panvel and Vashi from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm (excluding the Nerul/Belapur-Uran Port line).
  • Special local trains will operate between CSMT and Vashi during the block period.
  • Trans-Harbour Line services will be available between Thane and Vashi/Nerul during the block.
  • Port Line services will be available between Belapur/Nerul and Uran during this period.
