Mysuru: A total of 17,313 students are set to appear for the CET at 38 centres across Mysuru city on April 16 and 17. Speaking to TOI, Mariswamy M, deputy director of pre-university education (DDPU), Mysuru, said, "All necessary precautions have been taken to ensure a smooth and fair examination process. All centres have been equipped with essential amenities including drinking water, proper seating arrangements, and visible wall clocks in each exam hall."
He mentioned that linemen will be stationed to manage any power disruptions. CCTV surveillance will be at all centres, and live video feeds from examination rooms will be streamed in real-time to the ZP CEO's office for centralized monitoring. Room supervisors have been instructed to remain alert and follow protocol strictly. There is a strict ban imposed on wristwatches, calculators, mobile phones, and all other electronic devices inside exam halls, officials said.
