Baby girl abandoned

Mandya: A newborn girl was found abandoned under a tree by the roadside near the gate of Adichunchanagiri Hospital at BG Nagar in Nagamangala taluk on Saturday.
Police said the infant was discovered alone shortly after being abandoned, and the mother is believed to have left the spot. Local authorities were alerted, and the baby was immediately rushed to Adichunchanagiri Hospital for medical care. Doctors at the hospital confirmed that the baby is responding well to treatment and is stable.
A case has been registered at Belluru police station, and investigations are on to identify and locate the mother.
