Nagpur: The Jain International School (JIS), Nagpur, hosted the prestigious Devvani Sanskrit Shloka Olympiad Annual Awards Function 2024-25 recently. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across the country, including Rajasthan, Kanpur, Mumbai, Wardha, Amravati, and Navsari, as well as from international locations like Sweden. It was a moment of pride for JIS as its 14 students secured top ranks in various categories.
In Level 1, Chinmayee Deshmukh (Std III) clinched the first rank. The secnd rank was shared by Dnyanai Puri (III), Aradhya Chauhan (IV), Saumya Rathi (V), Palak Bhelkar (VIII), and Sharvil Sambhe (I). The third rank was secured by Nimit Chourasia (V), Dhaani Vaishya (IV), Hardik Sawal (VIII), Akshita Sharma (II), and Abhimanyu Ramawat (V). In Level 2, Manogya Pathak (IV) and Kalindi Katkoria (VII) attained the first rank. In Level 3, Pragya Pathak (IV) emerged as the first rank holder.
The school management and principal Anmol Mukherjee congratulated all the students on their remarkable achievements. Anmol Mukherjee emphasized the importance of Sanskrit in preserving India's rich cultural heritage and lauded the participants for their dedication and excellence in the language.
