New escalator boosts accessibility at Gondia railway station

Nagpur: In a significant step towards improving passenger convenience, Indian Railways introduced a new escalator at platform 3/4 of Gondia railway station. The state-of-the-art facility, inaugurated today, aims to enhance accessibility and ease movement for commuters, particularly senior citizens, differently-abled passengers, and those with heavy luggage.
The escalator, part of ongoing modernisation efforts by South East Central Railway (SECR), was warmly welcomed by travellers. Station officials noted that the addition will streamline passenger flow and elevate the overall travel experience at one of the region's busiest railway hubs.
