Noida: In Dec last year, Noida Authority took action against Skytech Construction Pvt Ltd for defaulting on payment dues for its group housing project Skytech Matrott in Sector 76 and sealed around 27 unsold flats as the builder failed to clear outstanding dues of Rs 30 crore.
However, recently the Authority decided to de-seal the flats, and a team was sent to the society for the same but the officials were not allowed to enter the premises and were allegedly mishandled by the residents. They did not let them proceed with the de-sealing of flats and interfered with legal orders.
Kranti Shekhar Singh, special executive officer, registered a complaint against Saurabh Shukla, Charu Agarwal, Pradeep Dalal Choudhary, Mahesh Tiwari, Shalu Duggal and Satish Goyal, all residents of plot GH/01 in Sector 76, and members of the Apartment Owners' Association.
He stated that the named residents shut the gate and did not allow the officials to enter inside when they reached there. He also accused them of misbehavior.
Based on the complaint, police filed a case under sections 132 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and 352 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) of BNS.
Further investigation is underway.
