Social worker dies in Buxar road accident
Buxar: A social worker, Premchand Gupta (65), out on a morning walk died when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle at Navanagar village on Dumraon-Bikramganj road under Navangar police station of Buxar district on Sunday. Soon after the accident, Premchand was taken to Varanasi for advanced treatment, but he died on the way.
Nandu Kumar, SHO of Navanagar police station said it was hit and run case. Police are scanning the CCTV footage of the surrounding areas to identify the culprit driver and his vehicle.
