Two liquor smugglers arrested in Buxar

Buxar: Two liquor smugglers were arrested with consignments in separate operations conducted by the excise department on Sunday. Excise superintendent, Buxar, Alok Ranjan said a raid was conducted on Jaso Road in Industrial police station area and one Subhash Ram, son of Suresh Ram, a resident of Gogaura village, was arrested and liquor was recovered from his possession. Ranjan said one Sumit John, son of Rajkumar, a resident of Musafir Ganj in the town police station area, was held while he was bringing a consignment of liquor from Uttar Pradesh. Both were sent to jail, he said.
