Kesari Chapter 2 Movie Review'Kesari 2' sees growth on second Saturday
The film has seen a good jump on second Saturday, which is day 9. While it made Rs 46.1 crore within 1 week, it made Rs 4.05 crore on second Friday. Now on Saturday, there was a jump in the numbers and it ended up making Rs 7 crore which is considered great. This is at par with its opening day number. This show that there is very good word of mouth surrounding the movie and many have touted it as one of Akshay Kumar's best performance. Thus, according to Sacnilk, the total collection of the film so far now stands at ₹ 57.15 crore.
An edge over 'Jaat' and 'Ground Zero'
Sunny Deol's 'Jaat' collected Rs 1.36 crore on Saturday and 'Ground Zero' which collected Rs 1.90 crore. Thus, 'Kesari 2' clearly dominated over these two movies with a big margin. With this trend, one can expect the film to see further growth on Sunday, which is day 10. There was a 'buy one get one' offer in some places during the weekdays which helped the business. According to Box Office India, 'Kesari 2' makers were earlier planning to release the film straight on OTT as it has a niche subject, thus a niche audience. With regards to that, it's impressive now that the film is inching towards Rs 60 crore.
