RAIPUR: Several passenger trains originating from Chhattisgarh will be affected in the coming days due to bridge reconstruction work in the Sambalpur railway division, as the East Coast Railway has scheduled infrastructure development in the Titlagarh-Lakholi and Titlagarh-Sambalpur sections, with traffic and power blocks in place from April 1 to May 2025, leading to disruptions in train services, according to the South East Central Railway (SECR).
The trains that will remain canceled include Titlagarh-Bilaspur Passenger, which will not run on April 1, 4, 8, 11, and 15, and Bilaspur-Titlagarh Passenger, which will also remain canceled on the same dates, while Visakhapatnam-Raipur Passenger will not operate on April 2, 6, 10, 13, 19, 23, and 27, as well as May 3, 6, 11, 18, 20, and 25, and Raipur-Visakhapatnam Passenger will be affected on April 3, 7, 11, 14, 20, 24, and 28, along with May 4, 7, 12, 19, 21, and 26, 2025.
Similarly, Raipur-Junagarh Road Passenger will not operate on April 2, 6, 10, 13, 19, 23, and 27, as well as May 3, 6, 11, 18, 20, and 25, while Junagarh Road-Raipur Passenger will be canceled on April 3, 7, 11, 14, 20, 24, and 28, along with May 4, 7, 12, 19, 21, and 26, 2025, and passengers are advised to check railway updates before planning their travel.
