Ranchi: The Times of India is set to bring back ‘Happy Streets' to the city, an initiative aimed at promoting community engagement. From 6 am to 9 am on Saturday, the streets near Gandhi Smriti Udyan in Morabadi will be transformed into a vehicle-free zone, allowing citizens to enjoy an open and safe environment for various recreational activities. The event is set to encourage people to step out of their daily routine, embrace fitness, and reconnect with their surroundings.
‘Happy Streets' is designed to promote a healthier and more active lifestyle while fostering social interaction among people of all age groups. The event will provide a unique opportunity for residents to walk, run, cycle, dance, play music, or simply enjoy a morning free from traffic and pollution.
Reliance Digital is supporting the event as technology partner. While Medha Dairy is the dairy partner, Anytime Fitness has joined as fitness partner and Curesta Health Ranchi will be the health partner. CMPDI, Adani Power, Hamilton Group and Oxford Public School are the associate partners. Besides, Academy of Music and Art will be the activity partner; Charter Bikes has joined as cycling partner while GMCKS Wellness Studio will be the healing and meditation partner.
Participants can look forward to a variety of activities, including zumba and yoga sessions, live music and dance performances, cycling and fitness challenges, and interactive games for children and families. Additionally, health awareness campaigns and check-ups will be available to encourage overall well-being.
The Times of India invites residents to come together and make the most of this unique opportunity to reclaim their streets. Whether it's for fitness, fun or simply to enjoy a refreshing morning, ‘Happy Streets' promises a memorable experience for all.
