The anime starts somewhere in the future where Humanity is under the control of a global system run by Sapientia AI. The AI system works as the world's manager and maintains peace all over the Earth.
Nonetheless, Moon is treated as a step-child and is nothing but a place to send pollutants and criminals. This scenario breeds inequality and poverty on the moon.
With the wheel of time moving constantly, all the residents of the moon start a rebellion to get what they rightfully should possess. Amidst all this, rises the protagonist Jacob 'Jack' Shadow.
He becomes a part of the Earth army to avenge the death of his family due to a terrorist bombing initiated by the Moon rebels. Now, the story unfolds with Jack being sent to Moon as a scout where he meets a leader of the rebels, precisely an unanticipated one.
