Aamir Khan hints at playing Lord Krishna in his dream project 'Mahabharat', says he's deeply impressed by that character: 'Main kuch badi cheezein bolna nahi cha raha hoon...'

Aamir Khan has been speaking about his dream project for years now! The actor has always expressed his desire to make 'Mahabharat', however it has kept getting delayed as he is scared. He understands the deep responsibility that would come with it and hence, he is extremely careful because he does not want to disappoint. In a recent interview though, Aamir confirmed that this year he's hoping to start work on this dream project.Now in another interview, he was asked about the character from 'Mahabharat' which he would personally like to portray, Aamir said at the India@2047 Summit hosted by ABP Live, "Actually… mujhe Krishna ka kirdaar bohot hi prabhavit karta hai… I’m very inspired by him. So that’s a character I really love (Actually… I find the character of Krishna deeply impactful… I’m very inspired by him. So that’s a character I really love)" However, he added further, "Kyunki yeh bohot bada project hai, toh main kuch badi cheezein bolna nahi cha raha hoon (Since this is such a big project, I don’t want to say anything major right now)."Talking more about the magnitude of the project, the actor said, "Yeh mera sapna hai ke main bana paun Mahabharat, lekin bohot mushkil sapna hai woh… (It is my dream to make the Mahabharat, but it’s a very difficult dream…) see, Mahabharat will never let you down… but you might let Mahabharat down."He also said, "Chahe main banaun ya koi aur… hum chahenge ki Bharat mein yeh film bane aur hum duniya bhar ko dikhayein ki humare paas kya hai (Whether I make it or someone else does… we would want this film to be made in India and show the world what we have).”At the moment, Aamir is gearing up for the release of his next film, 'Sitaare Zameen Par'.
