Indraadip Das Gupta, who is basking in the glory of his Special Jury Award (Feature Film) for Kedara, is all set to roll out his next film, Agantuk. The story chronicles the life of an elderly woman, who is found dead in her residence one morning. “It is a drama in cover of a thriller. How things unfold after the murder is what the film is all about.
Is it a murder or an accident? That is what will form the crux of the film,” he said.
Giving us an insight into the storyline, he added, “The story delves into the problems senior citizens face, with their children staying away and neighbours hardly ever attending to them. I will try to be as honest as possible with the storytelling and I hope the audiences like it.”
