It’s no doubt a challenging role of Aryann but the young actor is thrilled to be a part of the thriller. In an exclusive chat with ETimes, the actor gave a peek into his character in the film: “Every hacker has an alias name and as I play a hacker Remo, my alias name is Shadow Spinner. Remo is very passionate about hacking. In one line this film’s story revolves around Remo, an unethical hacker’s journey of transforming into an ethical hacker. What leads to the transformation that’s what makes it an interesting thriller.”
Prepping for his role in ‘The Hacker’ was not a cakewalk for Aryann as he had to research a lot to understand how the hackers actually work in real life. “I researched a lot to find out the hacker’s alias name. I even read a lot of biographies of hackers to understand the mindset and for my character Remo’s unethical hacker look I followed and drew inspiration from an infamous hacker Mark Abene who is best known for his alias name ‘Phiber Optik’. Even I learned a lot about the specific terminologies, different methods hackers use. It’s an amazing experience,” added an excited Aryann.

He also explained why this film is unique and what message it spreads. “Another interesting part of ‘The Hacker’ is the hackings we have shown in the film are not imaginary or science fiction. They are actually possible in real life. Our technical group theoretically did the hacking. It’s not imaginary. We even worked with a team of ethical hackers. Our main aim is to aware people of what’s coming in near future and how hacking can be ethically used to secure our future. Not all hackers are bad. It’s just the path we choose,” revealed Aryann who is also playing key roles in Rajorshi Dey’s paranormal thriller ‘Purba Pashchim Dakshin (Uttor Asbei)’, a horror flick ‘Bhut Chaturdashi’ and 'Durgeshgawrer Guptodhan'.
