Director Tathagata hopeful about his next which stars Victor Banerjee

Director Tathagata Bhattacherjee is really excited about his upcoming film, in which veteran actor Victor Banerjee plays the central character. The film is titled Akorik and apart from Victor Banerjee, Rituparna Sengupta, Anuradha Roy and Supratim Roy are part of it.
The director said that the story of the film is based on the conflict between two generations. “The story revolves around an elderly person, who has been raised in a joint family and cannot think of a life without one.He lives in Himachal Pradesh and meets a boy raised in a nuclear family. His mother is a celebrity author and the character is played by Rituparna Sengupta,” he shared. He said that the story is about conflicting ideals and values. “None of the family systems has been shown in a bad light,” he added. The entire shoot has taken place in Himachal Pradesh, while a small part has been shot in Kolkata.
