I regret not working with Satyajit Ray: Naseeruddin Shah

Film lovers in Kolkata were in for a treat, as the Satyajit Ray Memorial Lecture saw the presence of legendary Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah recently.
On the occasion of Ray���s birthday, the actor delivered a lecture on an ���Honest Actor���, which was loved by all. Speaking about Ray, he said that Satyajit Ray was the director whose films made it possible for Indian cinema to make its presence felt in the international scenario.Shah regretted not having acted in any Ray movie.
The event also saw the likes of Soumitra Chatterjee, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Dipankar Roy, Kaushik Sen, Pradip Mukherjee, Mir and Sandip Ray in attendance. Ray���s short films Inner Eye and Two were also screened at the do. ���It was an enriching experience, listening to Naseeruddin Shah talk about the evolution of an actor,��� said lyricist Srijato.
