Ichhe-come-true for Samadarshi, Bidita

It was a homecoming of sorts for Rakhee Gulzar, who began shooting in Kolkata on Wednesday for Goutam Halder���������s ���������Mukti��������� ��������� a celluloid adaptation of Moti Nandi���������s ���������Bijolibalar Mukti���������.
The thought of sharing screen space with Rakhee is almost a dream-come-true for Samadarshi Dutta, who plays Jyoti. While acting with her is a learning experience, even hearing the veteran thespian recollect her stories of tinsel town is an equal high.
Before Samadarshi signed on ���������Mukti���������, he had already started shooting for Anik Dutta���������s ���������Bhooter Bhobishyot���������. ���������I play a rockstar ghost. I loved working with Mumtaz, Swastikadi, Paramda and Paran kaku. Besides, I wouldn���������t give up on an opportunity to work with Anikda and Avikda,��������� said this FTII graduate. Avik Mukhopadhyay also happens to be the cinematographer of ���������Mukti���������. Samadarshi, however, has been strictly instructed not to talk about the film. Samadarshi���������s co-star in ���������Mukti��������� is Bidita Bag. Incidentally, both Samadarshi and Bidita have acted together in a yet-to-be-released film, ���������Ichhe���������. ���������Goutam Halder met up with me after somebody recommended by name to him. Initially, he had thought of casting me in a different role. But once he saw me, he asked me to smile. And guess what? He thought I fitted the role of Hashi pretty well. Ami heshe heshe Hashir role ta peye gelam!��������� Bidita is also thrilled to share screen space with Rakhee Gulzar. ���������She is a legend. I am waiting to interact with her,��������� Bidita said.
As for her Hindi film career goes, Bidita has recently turned down an offer to act in Anurag Kashyap���������s ���������Gangs of Wasseypur���������. ���������The role, I hear, is now being played by Reemma Sen,��������� Bidita added.
