Kamalika plays a pivotal role in Ekkees Tareekh Shubh Muhurat

Kamalika Banerjee, who was seen playing an interesting role in Meri Pyaari Bindu, is playing Indrani in Ekkees Tareekh Shubh Muhurat, directed by Pavan Kumar Chauhan. “We shot for the film at Mathura last year. The film shows that every human being has dreams and aspirations and they spend their entire lives trying to achieve those dreams. Such is the story of a 55-year-old man Pandit Giridhari Laal Sharma (Sanjay Mishra), who wants to escape his family legacy of becoming a priest and aspires to become a storyteller instead.His reality is that he is stuck trying to find a date for his daughter's wedding. What follows is a series of unfortunate events which land him in jail. His dreams start unfolding in the most unexpected way as his stories find an audience among prisoners. In the course of Panditji's life, he connects and meets a Bengali lady, Indrani, who plays a pivotal catalyst in turning his life around,” said Kamalika who is also part of Indranil RoyChowdhury’s next, Mayar Janjal.
