Mithun to do a comedy film in Bengali

Need a reason to laugh? Trust Mithun, Soham and Hiran to do so in Raja Chandas next
Mithun to do a comedy film in Bengali
The more, the merrier. This seems to be the mantra for Raja Chandas next, which has a casting coup of sorts. Titled Ley Halua Ley, this multi-starrer, a full-on comedy, will have Mahaguru Mithun Chakraborty, Soham, Hiran and Payel.
The rest of the cast includes Kanchan Mullick, Laboni Sarkar, Kharaj Mukherjee, Kamalika Banerjee and Rajatava Dutta.

Said the director, This is a situational comedy that will make the audience roll in their seats. Kudos to NK Salil for penning such a script! The story revolves around two characters, Soham and Hiran, fighting over the same girl, Payel. The suspicion, jealousy, hatred, everything springs from love. And this has been dealt with in a rip-roaring comedy style. Mithunda plays a businessman, who is a stickler for old values. But as luck would have it, he too gets entangled it the love crises with an unpredictable ending.
When CT got in touch with Mithun, who is currently in Shirdi, the actor said, I have come to pay a visit to Sai Babas temple with my family. I had done a mannat that I would visit him if Mimohs Haunted fared well.
Giving a peek into the character in his next, Mithun added, I am doing a comedy in Bengali after a long time. And I intend to have a blast on the sets. I, however, feel that it is the toughest to make the audience laugh.
Soham, on his part, is happy to have bagged a part where he doesnt play a struggler. For a change, I belong to a well-to-do family and have a business of my own. I even manage to love a girl. Sadly, theres competition from Hiran on that front, the actor laughingly admitted.

Payel too confessed that she is yet to come across this kind of unlimited male attention. Thankfully, Ive never come across a situation in my life where two to three men are vying for my attention, joked the actor, adding, Post-Ley Chakka, this will be my next comedy outing. The confusion reaches its peak when even Mithuns wife is suspicious about my relationship with him. Kanchan, Soham and Hiran all want to marry me. And how does it feel to be most-desired? Oh, this feeling is to be cherished, said the petite actor.
Interestingly, Tollywood will be laying its bet on a multi-starrer after quite some time. Shrikant Mohta, one of the producers, says, With most films focussing on serious subjects, it is time we give the audience some reason to laugh about in their otherwise stressful lives. And that too, through a multi-starrer. The film, which will have Jeet Ganngulis music, will go on floors on May 22 in Hyderabad. Say, isnt laughter the best medicine?
