Prosenjit reveals why working with Atanu Ghosh a unique experience

This isn’t the film’s only USP, after the huge success of Mayurakshi this is also the first time Prosenjit working with Atanu Ghosh. “Working with Atanu is quite a challenge for me. He is one of my favourite directors. He brings a different flavour to his scripts and characterization,” explains Prosenjit when speaking about his successful partnership with Atanu Ghosh.

Prosenjit Chatterjee and Jaya Ahsan are two of the biggest names of Bengal and Bangladesh and finally they are coming together for Atanu Ghosh’s next ‘Robibaar’. This isn’t the film’s only USP, after the huge success of Mayurakshi this is also the first time Prosenjit working with Atanu Ghosh.
‘Robibaar’ is a emotionally triggered relationship drama. The story follows Sayoni (Jaya Ahsan) and Asimabha (Prosenjit Chatterjee), who come across each other one fine Sunday, after a long gap of fifteen years.

Tempered with loads of conflict and deceit, the film promises to offer another magical experience.
We asked Prosenjit what sets Atanu Ghosh apart from others and the Tollywood superstar heaps praise on the National Award-winning director.
“Working with Atanu is quite a challenge for me. He is one of my favourite directors. He brings a different flavour to his scripts and characterisation,” explains Prosenjit when speaking about his successful partnership with Atanu Ghosh.
But what took him so long to work with Jaya Ahsan? “I was waiting for the right script to work with her. I had also waited for a long time to work with Soumitra Uncle (Soumitra Chatterjee) before Mayurakshi,” reveals the Tolly star whose next release in Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Gumnaami’.
