Shieladitya Moulik’s next questions stereotypical notions of love
After Sweater, Shieladitya Moulik is all set to make the audience feel a special kind of warmth. The director is busy shooting for Hridpindo in and around Kolkata. The film has Arpita, Saheb Chatterjee, Prantik Banerjee, Ananya Sengupta and Anubhav Kanjilal in the lead. The music is composed by Ronojoy. “The title of the film is keeping in mind the theme of the film, which questions whether love is guided by heart or head,” said the director.

On Sunday, the director shot few college sequences at Raichak with Arpita, who plays a lecturer in the film. “We started shooting from Thursday and it is going on well. I am so happy to work with Arpita as she is so grounded,” said Shieladitya.
Hridpindo is a romantic story that questions the stereotypical notions of love that we have lived with for generations. “Arpita will be there in a never-seen-before avatar. Both Saheb and Prantik, who play the male leads, will also look very different from their onscreen avatars so far. This film is richer than my previous film in terms of emotions and, of course, performances. The actors are working really hard to fit in the characters. No matter how complicated a subject is, I like to tell it in the simplest of ways. My audience should feel emotions while watching my movies and not think hard to decode scenes. The dialogues need to be very real and conversation-like. I also want to create a newer visual experience for the audience this time,” said the director.
