‘Shortcut’: Parambrata Chatterjee and Gaurav Chakraborty brave the heat while shooting for the film

The team of Subir Mongal’s directorial debut film ‘Shortcut’ is currently shooting in full swing. Recently, the actors Parambrata Chatterjee and Gaurav Chakraborty were seen braving the heat on the lanes of Kolkata as they shot for a scene in the film.
The two lead actors Parambrata and Gaurav were spotted shooting for the film in different parts of the city braving the scorching summer heat.Parambrata even had to undergo a makeover for one accident sequence. Meanwhile, Gaurav happily posed in front of the camera in between the shots with her co-actor Apu Biswas despite the extreme heat. The director reportedly intends to wrap up the shoot as soon as possible owing to the extreme weather condition.
Apart from Parambrata Chatterjee, Gaurav Chakrabarty, the social drama has Anindita Bose, Apu Biswas, Chandan Sen and Arin in pivotal roles. The film starts with a homeless man’s suicide as the easiest shortcut to escapism and two close friends Bishu and Abesh are shocked to see the incident right in front of their eyes. Bishu (Parambrata) belongs to a family from a nearby slum, while Abesh (Gaurav) has a strong family background. Both of them perceive the suicide in their own way and try to use it to their advantage. What happens next forms the crux of the film.
