Soumyajit Majumder to start his film from today

Actor turned director Soumyajit Majumder is starting the shoot of his film #Homecoming from Saturday. The shoot will mostly take place in Kolkata and the first day of the shoot is taking place in Kolkata’s Agorpara. The film has an ensemble cast from both Bollywood and Tollywood. Sayani Gupta, Hussein Dalal, Tushar Pandey, Soham, Plabita, Tuhina Das and Sourav Shubhra are acting in the film among others.
The story of the film revolves around a group of friends, who were part of a theater group, which was dismantled. “The group members are meeting after five years during a Durga Puja’s Nabami at the same rehearsal pad they used to meet regularly,” said Pujarini Ghosh, one of the actors in the film, who is playing the character of Bedo, a typical North-Kolkata girl. Most likely the film will be released this year.
