‘Tribhuj’ is a dark thriller with three interconnected stories.
Each one offers mystery, thrill, suspense and romance in equal proportion making it an intense thriller anthology. The film has been shot in Kolkata, Shantiniketan and Burdwan and with each location the director has tried to establish the contrast between the three stories.
Scheduled to release in September, ‘Tribhuj’ addresses issues related to women in today’s society, but from completely different perspectives. While the first story revolves around paining, the second story is related to photography and the third one is on videography.
Sayantani who plays a police officer in one of the stories is eagerly waiting for the film to release. “This is the first time I played a cop and it was quite challenging. My character investigates a serial killing case and the performing the fight sequences was not an easy task,” shared the actress. Aparajita Ghosh who plays a school teacher in the film is equally excited.
All three stories have been penned by director Bappa, script is by Jaydeep and Soumit while Apu Mukherjee is the DOP. Pranjal Das has composed the music for the film.
