When Rituparna turned up for a social cause

She is not only an on-screen heroine, Rituparna Sengupta is an idol off-screen as well. The celebrated actor participates in several city events which are organized for a social cause. She has always been proactive in helping those who earn their bread and butter from the Tollywood industry.
Recently Rituparna took part in a blanket distribution ceremony. The event was organized to distribute blankets among the not so privileged people of the society during the festive season.The Tollywood diva was more than happy to distribute blankets among the gathered individuals and also heartily supported the initiative.

On the work front, Rituparna is currently shooting for Murari M Rakshit’s next ‘Chhuti’. The social drama has an ensemble cast including Rituparna along with Saswata Chatterjee, Pradip Mukherjee and others. Since most of the parents are working these days, it’s becoming harder and harder to give a child proper time. Managing a vacation has also become a problem for the parents. The story of ‘Chhuti’ revolves around this issue.
