Only 20 shows for Taray Taray?

Looks like Swapnasandhani’s blockbuster production, Taray Taray, has a limited shelf life. The play is helmed by theatre director Kaushik Sen and stars Anjan Dutt as Vincent Van Gogh, Riddhi Sen as a young man, Ritwik, Surangana Bandopadhyay as his hapless wife and Reshmi Sen as a psychiatrist. Kaushik too has an important role to play. But a source from the production said the play will have only 20 shows.“The theatre group signed up Anjan Dutt for 20 shows. So far, all shows have been housefull and there is a huge demand for the play. But Anjan Dutt is caught up with Shahjahan Regency and his own productions and time constraint is a major issue,” said the source.
