‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ box office collection week 2: Tom Holland’s superhero act rakes in 165 crore

‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ continues to shine at the box office. In its second week, this Hollywood entertainer recorded a massive growth of around 50 per cent on Christmas. According to boxofficeindia.com, this Tom Holland starrer stands at a whopping collection of 165 crore nett.

‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ has picked massive business in the Hindi circuits, with nearly 75 per cent collection coming in from Mumbai and Delhi / UP.The East Punjab circuit is also adding positively to the film’s collection. Going by the present trend, ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ is expected to make a business of around 175 crore nett mark at the end of its second weekend. By the end of its theatrical run, this superhero entertainer is expected to hit the coveted 200 crore mark!

Directed by Jon Watts, this film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker with Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Benedict Wong, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire in pivotal roles. In a chat with ETimes, Vivek Krishnani, MD of Sony Pictures, spoke about the success of ‘Spiderman - No Way Home’ and shared, "It is the success of all cinema-going audiences in India. It is a film that has revived cinema-going in a big way. It's a big congrats to everyone who has been a part of this, been to the cinemas at even 4 am. The advances opened with a 7 am show. When that got sold, they opened up windows at 6 am, 5 am and then finally 4.15 am. It was an IMAX show that also got sold out. This is a testament to the fans and their desire to see the film and give it the love it received."
