Another cross over film, 'Feast of Varanasi' to be directed by UK based film maker Rajan Kumar Patel will be shot in Varanasi .
A crime thriller based on the city, it is the story of a young English woman who comes to visit her mother's sister in Varanasi whom she has never met since she is working as a missionary there for more than two decades. The city is in the grip of mysterious killing of young women which has a certain pattern.

The young English woman is used to reveal the mystery behind it.
"The shooting of the film has been planned in November when the river and setting of the city is best suited for filming ," says the director.
"Varanasi was the natural choice as following several visits to Varanasi, it was evident that the narrative that was written matched the unique setting of Varanasi and its layered and historic backdrop. The visual landscape of Varanasi has evolved over 1000's of years and will immensely add to the context of the film," says Patel
"As far as casting of the films goes discussion is going on with prominent actors , both British and Indian. Some of them have already worked in India before on international films and others from India have worked on well known recent films. We would be releasing the names when things are finalised," is all revealed by the director.
The film is being co-produced by Raj Acharya who has been associated as 1 stAssistant Director with projects like Slumdog Millionaire , 'Eat, Pray, Love', starring Julia Roberts,'The Way Back' starring Harvey Keittel, 'Don 2' and 'Talash' starring Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan respectively.
The camera would be handled by James Aspinal who has already shot the mini series 'Sharpe's Challenge' starring Sean Bean in India.
