'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart has defended her decision to work with Woody Allen. The 26-year-old actress stars alongside
Jesse Eisenberg,
Steve Carell and
Blake Lively in the director's latest offering Cafe Society.
However, her decision to appear in the film was slammed by Woody's estranged son
Ronan Farrow, who said that by doing so she and the rest of the film's cast were ignoring the director's links to an alleged child molestation scandal, reported Contactmusic.
I didn't like the 'Huntsman' sequel script: Kristen Stewart "I was like, 'What do you think? We don't know any of these people involved.
I can personalise situations, which would be very wrong'," Stewart said.
"At the end of the day, Jesse and I talked about this. If we were persecuted for the amount of... That's been said about us that's not true, our lives would be over. The experience of making the movie was so outside of that, it was fruitful for the two of us to go on with it.
