Among the many teaser clips that dropped at the
Super Bowl, was a new 'Mulan' trailer that sheds light on the invading army of “murderers” lead by a powerful witch Xianniang (played by Gong Li) out to take over the imperial city. The trailer of the live-action film sees the rise of a new hero in Liu Yifei as Hua Mulan, the legendary female warrior who takes the place of her ageing father to battle it out with the invading armies.
Packed with some gravity-defying stunts and explosive action scenes, this trailer gives the supporting cast featuring
Donnie Yen as Commander Tung, Yoson An as fellow soldier (and Mulan's love interest) Chen Honghui, Tzi Ma as Mulan's father, and
Jet Li as the emperor of China, enough time to shine.
