Prashant Rai to play yogi in a Hollywood film

Indian American actor, Prashant Rai has featured in several Hollywood films with the likes of George Clooney, Jamie Foxx and Megan Fox. This talented actor will now play the character of a yogi, in an American film titled, 'Rockstar Yogi'. The film is produced by New York Pictures, USA and it will be shot in Rishikesh and New York and it will release in both English and Hindi.
This film is about an American Rockstar who is involved with drugs, sex and guns. Eventually, the character gives up all addiction because of Yoga and meditation. Prashant is looking forward to portraying a character of contrasts as he’ll play both a rockstar and a yogi. Talking about his role, he says, “I am excited to work in this film as we are trying to showcase a real big problem in America, drug and opioid addiction, which takes so many lives. We’re trying to put across the message that these problems can be resolved through the power of Yoga and meditation.” The film is slated to go on floors in December this year and it will release sometime in 2019.
