Sam Worthington's life flashed before his eyes when he shot 'Man on a Ledge'.
The Australian actor plays the lead role of Nick Cassidy in the thriller about a man who is convicted for stealing a $40 million diamond but maintains his innocence, and with much of the film set 225 feet above the streets of Manhattan he had to be very careful about his footing.
He said: "Every now and then, when I did slip or fall or trip off, it clicked into place and for that brief second before it you're like, your life does flash before your eyes."
Although branching out into new films, Sam's most famous role has been in sci-fi movie 'Avatar', and he admits he is nervous about returning to the franchise when James Cameron writes the sequel.

He told the Scotsman newspaper: "I like working with Jim. It's a war, it's a circus. It makes you better as an actor. You go into the motion-capture world and there's no hiding. You work with Jim Cameron, he pushes you that much, that all the cobwebs and bad habits that I've picked up since the last time - he's going to f***ing destroy me. There's a part of me that's scared."
