Hollywood star Will Smith is no longer attached to star in Legendary Entertainment's 'Brilliance'.
The 45-year-old actor was tipped to appear in the sci-fi adaptation, but has bowed out due to scheduling constraints, according to Variety.
Smith has already signed on to Warner Bros' upcoming drama 'Focus', which is set for release on February 27, 2015.
Legendary Entertainment had hoped to start shooting the Julius Onah-directed project in August with Smith in the lead role.

The film is set in an alternate universe where people with special abilities are called "brilliants", and focuses on a federal agent trying to hunt down a brilliant terrorist.
In March Prometheus actress Noomi Rapace entered negotiations to join Brilliance, a story based on the best-selling novel by author Marcus Sakey.
