Cardi B defends herself against allegations of paid endorsement for Kamala Harris

In the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Democratic nominee Kamala Harris lost the battle to Donald Trump. Both the contenders were supported by several A-listers from Hollywood, especially Kamala Harris. And now, some of the stars who stood in solidarity with Kamala are under scrutiny, pop icon Cardi B is one of them. The singer has been accused of being paid for endorsing Kamala. However, according to Cardi B, all the allegations are rubbish.
According to the latest updates, the American political commentator Candace Owens has taken to his social media handle to accuse Cardi B. Tagging the singer, Owens wrote on X - “Hey Cardi B – Working on a story and was wondering if you were in any way paid to speak at the Kamala campaign event you spoke at. Thanks in advance!"
‘Drip’ singer didn’t waste a moment to hit back. Taking to X she mentioned, “I didn’t get paid a dollar and that’s on my three!! I actually came out of pocket for glam and travel because it’s somewhere I wanted to be… Like please girl you know damn well I’ll argue you down about politics FOR FREE."
For the unversed, Cardi B was a part of Kamala Harris’ Wisconsin State Fair rally on November 5, 2024. She gave a speech to the audience in which she said, “Women have to work 10 times harder and still face questions about how we achieved success. I can’t stand a bully, but just like Kamala, I always stand up to one."
The pop singer also took to her social media handle to show her support to Harris.
