Police Explain the Series of Events
During a press conference, Atlanta Police Lt. Andrew Smith provided details about the incident. He mentioned that officers had responded to a distress call regarding gunfire in the area. Upon reaching the location, police set up a perimeter outside a house. When they knocked on the door, a man quickly shut it.
