Odia celebrities cast their votes

Odia celebrities cast their votes during the third phase of the Indian general elections. In this phase, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack voted for their candidates and among the voters were many Odia film stars.

Actress Anu Choudhury, who has been campaigning for various BJP candidates cast her vote at the Government Upper Primary School in Baramunda Housing Board Colony in the morning.“As I had to go for an rally, I went to the polling booth and cast my vote in the morning. I never miss voting. Elections are essential for democracy and our votes matter a lot. So, it’s important that we choose the right persons to lead us is important. Shouting later won’t help much. I hope people will cast their votes in the last phase on April 29,” Anu said.

Similarly, actor Sabyasachi Mishra, who stays in Khandagiri, went to the polling booth at Aiginia near his house in the afternoon. “Since it was hot outside, I didn’t go out in the first half, I went around 5.30 to cast my vote and it was a good experience to meet people and young kids who were working as volunteers there. It’s our right and I feel every Indian should take part in this process actively and enthusiastically,” the actor said.

Among the other actors who voted during this phase were Archita Sahu, Samaresh Routray, Sambit Acharya, Poonam Mishra, Papu, Babushan Mohanty and Aparajita Mohanty, who went to their nearby polling booths and cast their votes. Actors staying in Cuttack and have their names registered there also went to cast their votes. Among these were Varsha Priyadarshini, Anubhav Mohanty, Durga Kinkar, Kuna Tripathy and Arindam.
