Odia celebrities celebrated Mother’s Day by sharing pictures with their mother on social media. Those who are with their mothers during this lockdown tried to make them feel special while others spoke to their moms over phone.
Actress Anu Choudhury, who is busy with social work during the lockdown, said every day is Mother’s Day for her. "We must love, respect and recognise the work of our mothers and that would be our greatest worship of them,” she said.She shared a picture of her with her parents on social media.

Actor Sabyasachi Mishra felt that those who are spending the lockdown with their mothers are lucky. “Others who are away from their mothers must call and talk to them. I am lucky in this regard as I spend time with my mother every day,” he said.
Actor Babushaan Mohanty, whose parents were martinee idols of the ’80s and ’90s, also shared a photo with his mother Aparajita Mohanty on social media. “Along with celebrating the day with our mothers, we must also worship and take care of Mother Nature,” said the actor.
Actress Archita Sahu also shared a photo with her mother, who is employed with the state labour and employment department. “My mother is a busy soul these days, as she ensures the safe passage of migrant labourers to certain states. I’m lucky that I have been staying with her and despite being a busy person, she never forgets to pamper me,” she said with a smile.
